USEFUL INFO
Requirements to documents to be translated and legalized abroad
Dear Customers,
Please find below the requirements for most frequently legalized documents from/for foreign countries. If you are not sure that your documents are in compliance with those requirements, or if your case is specific, a timely consultation (free of charge) by phone or in situ will help avoid any inconveniences, waste of time and money.
-
Birth certificate, marital certificate, marital status certificate, address of permanent domicile certificate, death certificate - shall be duplicate copies (not originals!) and only in rare cases - copies certified by the issuing municipality (notarized copies of those documents cannot be legalized). Each document shall have the rectangular stamp of the issuing municipality at the back in evidence of its authenticity.
-
Matriculation certificate - The faculty, discipline, year of matriculation, duration, your target qualification and purpose of its application shall be shown.
-
Certificate of primary or secondary school for relocation purposes - shall be signed not only by the class teacher but also by the school master.
-
Diploma for secondary education, college diploma, university diploma, supplement to the university diploma, academic transcript, diploma for post-graduate (also including those issued by medical schools and universities) - you shall provide the original, which will be returned to you subsequently. The diploma holder would need to provide a Power of attorney authorizing our agent to act for such legalization.
-
Conviction status certificate - this shall have two signatures: by the magistrate and the registrar of the respective court; court resolution on company registration, certificate of current financial standing - this shall have fresh signature laid by the magistrate and the stamp (no notarized copies), and if signed by the court registrar - the full names of the latter shall be inserted; power of attorney or statement - the signatures of the principal or the person making such statement shall be notarized.
-
Health certificate for foreign employment - all your data shall be filled in as shown in the beginning of the document. You shall have passed all examinations, inclusive of Wassermann and HIV, since even if the document shall be legalized without these, there might be a problem to enter a certain country; immunization passport of a child child (children's health cards are not to be legalized) - all valid immunizations made as of that time shall be shown.
-
Bank statement - if issued by your bank, you shall explain that this will be needed for translation and legalization to be used abroad.
Dear customers, when you have your respective documents issued, please be sure to check the correctness of data written therein, to avoid any mistakes, since we would not be in a position to make any modifications or amendments in the translation of your documents.
Requirements to foreign documents to be translated and legalized
All documents coming in Bulgaria from abroad, irrespective of their nature, whether duplicates of originals, shall have an Apostille, to be eligible for translation and notarial certification. There is one exception:
-
documents originating from any countries with which the Republic of Bulgaria has a covenant for legal support - these are the former socialist republics, the former Soviet republics except for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, all former Yugoslavian republics, France, Austria, Russia, Libya, Iraq and Tunisia. Those documents can be legalized without an apostille, but those shall always be originals finally signed and stamped by a government institution.
